‘Breakfast with Charles’ was born out of a desire to share good food with local friends on a weekly basis. To get everyone together around a table and try out interesting dishes. To push imaginative flavours but in a relaxed homely setting. London dictates a pace of life that makes evenings hard to coordinate even with your closest friends and so breakfast became our setting. It is now the meal that brings us all together.

It all started out in modest settings and has since grown into much larger, more ambitious foundations. In February 2013, from

Charlie's home on Colombia Road, East London, we started serving up a flurry of breakfast ideas every Thursday before heading off to the day job. Getting your friends together at 7am before the stress of the day kicks in and without the influence of alcohol has proved a liberating experience.

Since then, we have become breakfast fanatics, serving pre-work breakfasts in a number of London locations, currently in Mile End, East London, and have established a Sunday brunch popup at the Rooftop Cafe in London Bridge. Following a run of sold out events in 2013, we are pleased to announce a monthly residency for 2014. These events have established themselves as something new on London's brunch scene, providing innovative tasting menus in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
